If you are a parent, do you know these 12 sexual orientation labels? As parents, we need to educate ourselves and know at least these 12 sexual orientations because youth today are moving beyond heterosexual, homosexual, and bisexual when it comes to their sexual orientation labeling. What is pansexual? What is demisexual? What is androsexual? What is gynesexual? What is monosexual? What is asexual? What is biromantic? What is panromantic? What is demiromantic? What is LGB? If you are currently parenting, don't assume your child's sexual orientation and be educated on the variety of sexual orientations and labels that youth today are choosing to use and identify as. There are also sexual orientations that are not related to sexual attraction but romantic attraction. In this video, I explain the difference between sexual and romantic attraction and discuss some of the sexual orientation labels that youth are choosing to use and identify as. 😊 Check out the timestamps for the chapters of this short video if you need to jump to a specific part.

Having the Sex Talk with your Child can feel overwhelming. But I'm here to help and It's Time for the Sex Talk for Parents is designed to make having conversations with your child about sex and answer their sex questions easier. If you have a question or want to reach out to me - feel free - I'm on IG, FB, & TT.
'It's Time for the Sex Talk for Parents' is a channel designed to provide parenting tips and parenting advice on how to talk about sex, sexual health, and sexuality with their child. Many parents feel unprepared to have talks about sex with their child and I, Kathleen Hema, am here to help parents build their confidence in being able to talk about sex with their child. I want parents to know that they can provide medically-accurate and age-appropriate sex education to their child AND include their family values. Family values are an integral part to the sex talk and sex talks with your child but it is key to first explain the medically-accurate sex and sexual health information in an age-appropriate way. Then you can add in your family values. In my videos, I give examples of how to do this.
