ActRaiser is proud to bring you his second release on Kraak Records. Started in 2023, the Epilogue EP was intended as a follow up to his debut release, 2021's Short Stories LP. Several tracks were completed, but the project was put on hold. In 2025, with a new found enthusiasm, Rob re-opened the projects, finalising the best tracks, and creating a brand new one (Desert Road Trip), to complete the EP.

As with Short Stories, Epilogue is a journey into dusty Trip-Hop and downtempo music, inspired by the sounds of UK downtempo music in the late 1990s and early 2000s - this time with more emphasis on emotive guitars and ethereal vocals.

Created to evoke images of late night campfires with friends, road trips across open country, and beach sunsets, ActRaiser hopes that Epilogue will soundtrack your own adventures.

Hailing from Bristol, Rob 'ActRaiser' Sayles is probably best known to most for his liquid D&B output, but his work has covered a range of styles over the years, from breaks to dubstep, and this new EP for Timewarp sub-label Kraak finds him in out-and-out downtempo/ambient territory. The five tracks that make up the 'Epilogue' EP all come from the mellow and contemplative side of the street, ranging from the epic, hypnotic 'Desert Road Trip' to the meandering 'Time Apart', and together they add up to 24 minutes of warm, soothing but nevertheless highly engaging listening.
