The Gift of Answered Prayer

Glory be to God alone.
The Manna of comfort the Lord grants you on this new day:
“Stay connected with Me. Keep My Word in your heart; I will give you what you ask, and your desires will be fulfilled.”

John 15:7
“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done for you.”

Beloved in Christ,
Only when a branch stays connected to the tree can it bear fruit; if it is cut off, it dries up. In the same way, if your prayers are to be answered, you must remain connected with Christ.
Many are troubled and ask, “Why is my prayer not answered?” The reason is often that we seek God, but we do not keep His Word in our hearts and live by it. A wire gives light only when it is connected to power.
When you read God’s Word, meditate on it, and obey it, then whatever you ask, the Heavenly Father will not withhold from you. As your relationship with God becomes stronger, your answers will come naturally. Every closed door of blessing will be opened.
Amen.

Let us pray:
My loving Holy Heavenly Father, thank You for this new day.
Loving Father, grant us grace to always remain connected with You and with Your Word. Give us the gift of abiding in You, leaving worldly desires behind.
Jesus, touch those suffering in struggles such as debt, sickness, and heavy burdens, and grant them perfect deliverance right now.
May Your goodness and grace continue throughout this new year for the children celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries today.
Father, at the coming of Jesus, make me worthy and prepare me to be taken up with Him.
I pray in Jesus’ name, our good Father, Amen.
