The differences between the stereo and mono mixes are complex, depending on which release you're listening to. They mainly involve a different introduction, and the location where Ringo's cowbell enters/exits. I'm using the Mono Masters and Past Masters versions for my stereo and mono covers
Check out my guitar cover of the stereo version here-

The Beatles recorded the song on March 1, 1964. The lineup consisted of the usual- John on rhythm guitar, George on lead guitar, Paul on bass and Ringo on drums. Seven takes were completed, and take 7 was the main contender
John played the rhythm on his new 1964 Rickenbacker 325 'Miami' guitar, into a Vox AC-50 amp. The 325 I'm using (Mike's) is a reissue of John's other 325 model- the 1958 'Hamburg' Rickenbacker 325
George used his new 1963 Rickenbacker 360/12 12-string electric into an AC-50 as well. Here, I'm using my 1999 Rickenbacker 360/12v64 reissue. Both guitars are going through my Vox AC-30C2x
INTERESTING NOTES: (see my stereo guitar cover for interesting notes beyond the intro)
0:02 George slides into the F# note here (he doesn't slide on the stereo version)
0:05 George plays a different riff from the stereo version here as well. He plays less notes
GEAR:
