In this video I'm cutting my dog's nails and he is NOT a fan. BUT, we have to start somewhere right?! You will see great body language in this video and if your dog show's you the signs that my dog is showing me - you know that they are having a little bit of a tough time and that we should reward, rest and reset soon.
I prefer to build these skills up over time and I do not want to rush the process. Small doses of stress builds resilience - overwhelming them with fear and pain ruins the progress.
