Joy grew up in a Christian home and later met a man at work. By the world’s standards, they had everything going for them. However, he was not a believer. Joy had a hunch that she should pray about the relationship, but out of fear that God might reveal he wasn’t the one, she chose to ignore it and carried on.

During their marriage, they started a family and achieved many markers of success. Yet, deep down, Joy felt a persistent sadness. She longed to be in church and serve God, but faith became a source of tension and struggle in her unequally yoked marriage.

A near-death experience during surgery rekindled Joy’s relationship with God. Soon after a romantic anniversary trip to Paris, her husband confessed that he had never loved her and had been unfaithful.

In the fire of divorce, Joy’s faith was forged, and God transformed her character. Through the power of Christ Jesus, she was brought to radical forgiveness and peace. God restored her life, even to the point of reconciliation with her ex-husband and his new wife.

In her obedience, Joy is blessed multifold, with all her needs provided as a single mom and prospering to the point of becoming a blessing to others. Her suffering gave her a heart for marriages and the reconciliation of all kinds of relationships.

We pray this testimony blesses you and that the Spirit of God ministers to you, bringing forgiveness, healing, and reconciliation to the relationships in your life. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
