Back in 2017 this channel had less than 5000 subscribers and barely got any views, which was fine for my second channel that I only started to give me somewhere to play around with 'off-topic' videos that didn't fit on my main channel. But then we made a video about our autistic teenage son refusing to go back to school, which led to a meltdown, and that video went viral, getting over 3million views and bringing a whole new audience to the channel asking for similar content. Gradually the focus of the channel shift more and more towards Andy and autism over the next few years, until we reached a point where we had over 100,000 subscribers, but all anybody wanted was autism content and everything else I uploaded was ignored or criticised. Around a year ago, I made the decision to remove all of the autism meltdown videos from the channel, but didn't tell anyone. My hope was that by removing secretly, I could gradually change the makeup of our subscriber base and shift the channel back towards what I started it to be. And this is how I got on...

I'm a 38 year old YouTuber from the UK. I've got a cracking beard and I'm currently going through the autism diagnosis process.
