Mari Nakamoto (中本マリ) is a Japanese jazz vocalist known for her smooth and expressive singing style. Born in Sendai, Japan, she started her musical journey at a young age, studying piano and classical ballet before transitioning into jazz.

She made her solo debut in 1973 with the album Unforgettable and quickly gained recognition in Japan’s jazz scene.
