In 2011, our late friend and Production Chief, Mike Shields launched a website called "Wrestling Moments," highlighting some of his favorite clips and content from our library. After he passed, his family lent us his hard drives with all of the wrestling programming he had been working on for us. Mike was an impeccable archivist, and had saved almost everything he ever worked on. We thought sharing Mike's favorites with you would be a nice tribute for him.
Aside from covering some dead URLs, these are exactly as Mike had made them. Do keep in mind that these were created for the internet of 2011, so in some cases length and resolution may not be ideal. They're a product of their time, but still very much watchable and enjoyable.
Whenever possible, I will include Mike's writings on the particular clip. This is especially insightful when we get to his Memphis stuff, as he was the man who shot it to begin with.
RIP Mike Shields.
