Confession, I finished an entire bottle of the Trader Joe's "Everything But The Bagel Sesame Seasoning" in 1 week. OMG I know!! As I live in Canada, I decided to make my own version with a twist of course!
This seed-packed homemade seasoning blend not only makes your food taste sooooo good, but it's packed with fibre, omega3, calcium and iron! Your gut will thank YOU 🤗
It's not what you eat, rather it's what you can digest and absorb. Good health starts with the gut.
Unfortunately, most Canadians have inadequate beneficial bacteria, excessive damaging bacteria, and a lack of bacterial diversity. Largely due to a poor diet, chronic stress, environmental toxins, and over medicating.
This ultimately leads to unbalanced gut flora and increased susceptibility to intestinal permeability (aka leaky gut).
So what to do you ask? In order for us to have a strong and integral digestive system we need to feed our beneficial bacteria. I would start off simple and just try to clean up your diet by limiting processed foods and increasing dietary fibre.
Adding more fibre to your diet from food sources such as vegetables, legumes, nuts and seeds is a great way to ensure that your bacteria have food to eat, to survive and multiple.
Here is the recipe:
20g toasted white sesame seeds
15g sea salt flakes
13g dehydrated garlic flakes
12g dehydrated minced onion flakes
10g of Prana Proactiv Probiotic Whole Chia seeds
3g of poppyseeds
Use this seasoning on EVERYTHING!!!
