Описание: A mechanical problem that causes a loss of tailrotor thrust will be accompanied with abnormal vibrations or noise usually. You must enter an autorotation to get rid of the torque and land without bringing the power back in. If you enter the auto and you see that you have no place to immediately land, you can rejoin the needles and fly at a low power setting to a suitable spot and re-enter the auto. Do NOT think you can land by using a slide on landing and manipulating the throttle. This answer will cause you to fail your check ride and would not work in the field either.
