🔍 Hunting for Afan Bike Park:
Our day begins with the quest to find Afan Bike Park nestled within the expansive trail network. However, our plans hit a snag as many trails are closed or diverted due to ongoing tree felling operations. Despite the challenges, we navigate our way through Y Wall, embarking on a wild goose chase along fire roads until we eventually stumble upon the elusive bike park.

🌧️ A Twist of Fate:
What started as a promising sunny day quickly takes a turn for the worse as freezing rain catches us off guard. Stranded far from our van in mere T-shirts, with half the trail network closed, we face the daunting task of finding our way back. After traversing the W2 transfer link, we finally discover Whites Level, offering open trails and a brief respite from the rain.

🚴‍♂️ Challenging Yet Rewarding Ride:
Despite the setbacks, we embrace the challenge and enjoy a thrilling day of biking at Afan. Our new Garmin Edge 840 Solar proves invaluable as we navigate through the forest trails.
