The TR Anniversary is quite a broken game for the home consoles, the PSP version is a straight port from the PS2 version but with few changes but sadly non of them is quality of life improvements.
Pretty frustrating game overall.
The game needs so much quality assurance and playtesting the game is so scripted that it is painful every jump is scripted well some aren't and in those instances the game is like I have no idea what to do and everything looks so guffy, but because every jump is scripted if you miss trigger points the jumps fail every time so you are constantly searching for trigger points.
Because of scripted jumps you never know what to do in game, sometimes she can fly ten meters sometimes she can't jump over a shoe box so this is a very frustrating unpredictable expropriation that makes you look up walkthrougs.
The quick time events timing is changed and it makes hard to do if you are used to regular version timing.
The graphics look amazing though, almost a PS2 quality level

"I' m sure I'm just opening up old wounds for those who thought I was too hard on the PS2 version of this game, but people need to step back and see that I'm saying Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary is a good game despite any of my gripes. The gameplay is fun and challenging, it looks pretty on the PSP's widescreen at times, and you're getting all the costumes changes, relics and Croft Manor exploits that were seen on the PS2. If you're looking for a solid adventure game, this fits the bill." - IGN
