The tank includes a gun that fires 3D printed projectiles. The bullets are accelerated using two wheels mounted on brushed DC motors, and by pushing the bullets between the wheels, they are ejected from the barrel. The drum contains up to 16 bullets (8 slots, with two bullets per slot) and the firing algorithm is fully automatic (activating the trigger of the remote control pushes the next bullet between the acceleration wheels and rotates the drum every two shots). Also, the tank provides feedback to the remote control: After firing, the number of remaining bullets is sent to the remote control and shown on its LCD display.
