Can you learn to write better by copying? That's what I'm looking to find out in this video. So I decided to copy A Game of Thrones word for word and see if it improved my writing (or at least changed it).
It may seem like an outlandish technique and many reject the idea that you can learn this way outright. But as far as I'm concerned, if something is effective it's worth doing. So that's what we'll be answering in this video: Will copying A Game of Thrones (or any other book) influence your writing style to be more like that used in the book.
