Cops open fire on dacoits in Bantwal of Dakshina Kannada district.
Cops opened fire after 5 dacoits tried to run over their car on police.
Cops tried to stop dacoits at two places but dacoits tried to mow down which forced cops to open fire.
Out of 5 dacoits in the car, 3 held and 2 managed to escape.
Arrested men identified as Saddam, Mohammed Irshad and Mousin Suratkal.
Cops have seized several lethal weapons from the car.
