Alumni Session #12 | Chirag Gupta, Malavika Biju and Akash Trivedi

Описание: The Science Club is delighted to bring to you the 12th edition of Student-Alumnus meet and greet sessions. This time, we shall be hosting three of our seniors from the Batch of 2022 who are heading to the IIMs across the country. Dig deep into their journey through IISER and into the IIMs! Join us for the twelfth alumni session with Chirag Gupta, Malavika Biju and Akash Trivedi.

Chirag Gupta, completed his BS-MS from IISER Pune this year and is heading to the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore with an AIR 1 in the Common Admission Test (CAT). Throughout his time at IISER, he was keenly interested in Physics. He has also been a part of a Cross country study on the Water Poverty Index, under the guidance of Dr. Bejoy K Thomas of the HSS Department of IISER, Pune. He also worked on Landau Zener Dynamics, under the guidance of Prof. Rejish Nath of the Physics Dept.

Malavika Biju is among the most recent IISER Pune alumnus and shall be joining IIM Calcutta with a CAT Percentile of 98.27. Throughout her IISER life, she was keenly interested in Mathematics, Physics and Environmental and Climate Sciences. She was among the top 0.1 percentile students in Physics in AISSCE 2017. At IISER, she has done research projects under Dr. Anindya Goswami and Dr. Uttara Naik Nimbalkar.

Akash Trivedi is heading towards IIM Bangalore with a CAT percentile of 95.8 after completing his BS-MS degree this year. He was keenly interested in Physics during his years at IISER. He has done multiple projects under Prof. Bijay Kumar Agarwalla which include Investigation of Validity of Quantum Master Equations, Concepts and Applications of Open Quantum Systems among others. He is also an NCC cadet, a teacher and a blogger!

They all have different experiences, tips and resources to share which are undoubtedly going to benefit you to prepare for this year's CAT exam which is just 5 months and 22 days away after this session is conducted, so do join us to know the insights behind their strategies, preparations and interviews.
