During the procedure, the areola is gently reduced to the desired size, and the excess breast tissue is removed. The nipple stays connected to the tissue for safety and is moved upwards for a natural result. Finally, the breast is reshaped and carefully sutured.

Depending on how much tissue and skin need to be removed, the surgeon may use a scar-sparing vertical technique. In cases with more skin excess, a small T-shaped incision may be used. Both approaches aim to balance aesthetics and safety.
