M1NT0 CVC RUS // Расставание (Cover)

Описание: 2024! I had something completely different planned for New Years, but I felt motivated to complete this first. Maybe I'll post it in like fucking June or some shit LOL

This entire cover is a labour of love. Фиакр (Fiakr) is one of my favourite bands ever, and this song is probably one of their best. Unfortunately, there is very little information about the band themselves, but I will tell you what I know:

I believe the group may have originated from Pokhistnevo (Samara Oblast), but I'm mostly basing this on the fact a studio with the same name as their own is based there. The group had at least two singers, though in their third album they introduce three: Aleksandr (Sanyok) Karleev, Svetlana (Sveta) Ildyakova, and Aleksandr (Sanyok) Ivanaysky. Occasionally, I see a mysterious 'A. Filatov' credited.

Despite being relatively unknown (at least now), they released a whopping EIGHT albums from 1989 to 1994. Most don't have names, and there's only 'official' song and album information for the first three albums. Their earlier albums have a much calmer air to them—though their third album has 'fuller' instrumentation—and their later albums are a bit more experimental, despite being the same genre. Two songs on their first album were remastered in 1993 and 1994.

Assuming it's possible, I would love to know more about the band. I've tried contacting people who may have been involved, though (understandably) nobody has managed to get back to me. This has included the purported writer of the songs, Oleg Klimyakin, who has a page on VK.
