Relaxing Hike on the "Epic Trail" from Davos-Rinerhorn to the Sertig Valley 🇨🇭 SWITZERLAND

Описание: From Davos-Glaris train station we take the gondola lift to the Jatzmeder restaurant below the Rinerhorn. Normally we would walk up there, but today we're too lazy 😀 From Jatzmeder we still manage to climb the 200 vertical meters to the "Hubel" viewpoint (which can also be bypassed on a flat path) and we walk down to Äbirügg on the other side , where both paths meet again.

This is where a hiking trail (also known as the "Epic Trail", popular with hikers and mountain bikers alike) leads down into the picturesque Sertig Valley. Over 5 kms distance and with a gradual drop of 200 meters, the path descends gently into the valley, through forest and along open slopes with diverse vegetation. The two hamlets of Sertig-Dörfli and Sertig-Sand soon come into view at the bottom of the valley. While in the first part of the hike we constantly hike in sight of the Jakobshorn chain, in the second part we see the mighty peaks of the Ducan mountain range.

After arriving in Sertig-Sand, a track leads a little further to the end of the valley, where the imposing Sertig waterfall is located. From here you can also hike over the Sertig Pass or the Ducanfurgga to Bergün, walk over the Fanezfurgga to Davos-Monstein or simply take the hourly public bus back to Davos from Sertig-Sand.
