Dhabla, offering hurya and Siljangma song 🙏📿 | 4k Dhukpa Chiju Festival

Описание: Every year in the sixth month of tibetan calendar (Dawa Dhukpa) Langtang people celebrate one of the most important festivals of their tradition. This four day occasion is called Dhukpa Chiju. First day of the festival is most important day. On this day people believes that the spirit of dead one comes visit the living. During first day people put new prayer flags for the dead ones to achieve nirvana and for living ones to achieve peace and prosperity. lama perform rituals and puja. After finishing rituals people dance around the flag.
second day it's for the chiba ( organizor or sponsor for the festival) ngerup is given to chiba in traditional way by singing song and performing rituals by lama.

day 3 DHADHUE: most fun and awaited day of this festival. it starts with puja and prayers in kyanjin gumba. family gathers in their respective home and have alum and different dishes. they eat and drink together elderly gives blessings to younger one. after that people gather in monastery and perform the rituals called DHABLA. Hurya: yak which is offered to Mount Langtang Lirung (Gyange Lirung) every year for peace and prosperity of Langtang valley and its people. then the yak is released after the ritual inside the monastery. Siljangma song is sang by the women of village and then the Archery game begins. Winner of Archery is congrats by whole village with khata and the winner will give party to the villagers. And all sing and dance in traditional song in circle.

Day-4 GYANGMA: it's the last day of DHUKPA-CHIJU festival. In this day long distance arrow shooting (Archery) competition is held. 1st 2nd and 3rd are congratulated by whole village with khata and drinks. Here last, 2nd last and 3rd last will have to fight and ride wooden horse 🐎(Tali). After fighting for tali they will go to house of Lama, Baru and leader houses they will get drinks and khata from all. People will sing and dance in traditional song in circle like day-3. As it's last day people dance and sing whole night as well.
