📍 At Beyond the Trees Avondale in County Wicklow, you can climb 12 storeys high to the top of their treetop walkway and whizz your way back down on a 90m spiral slide. It’s an absolute thrill and the perfect way to feel like a kid again, even if the climb has your legs second-guessing your life choices!

The entry fee for adults is €14.50, kids aged 3–17 are €10.50, and under 3s go free. The slide itself is an extra €2 per go, and trust us, one ride is never enough.

🌳 Fun fact: Beyond the Trees is home to Ireland’s longest treetop walkway, stretching 1.4km through the stunning Avondale Forest. It’s also dog-friendly, so your four-legged friends can join in (but sadly, no slide for them).

☔️ In wet or humid conditions the slide needs to close for health and safety reasons. This is because people can get stuck in the slide when it is wet or go so fast that it becomes unsafe.
