Skills Development Camp for national cricketers underway at NCA, Lahore
The Skills Development Camp for national cricketers has commenced at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore, aiming to enhance players’ performance and readiness through structured training.
The camp is being held in three phases. The first phase features 15 players currently undergoing a series of intensive training sessions under the supervision of experienced coaches.
On the opening day, participants engaged in various exercises, including gym workouts and fielding practice. The second session focused on fielding techniques and bowling drills, designed to sharpen skills and improve overall fitness.
A total of 47 players are expected to participate over the course of the 20-day camp. The second phase is scheduled to begin on June 23, followed by the third and final phase on June 30.
The Pakistan Cricket Board aims to utilize this camp to further develop player capabilities and prepare them for upcoming domestic and international fixtures.
