Описание: This old American four square vernacular house with dormer windows and a porte cochere was built in the late 1800’s. A neighbor suggested the home was originally a sears kit house with the materials brought in by train but I couldn’t find any information on that besides similar looking homes in old catalogues. The family that built the house were modest farmers and also owned a small dairy farm. The home was repossessed and sold during the great depression and went through a myriad of different owners over the years. The last owners built a 1960’s rancher house next door when modernizing, upkeep and repairs became too much for the old house and lived in the rancher until passing away in the early 2000’s since then the house has sat vacant. Hopefully one day someone comes along and restores this old place. The second house I filmed was most likely built in the mid 1800’s and has been abandoned so long I couldn’t find any real information on it. Very unique old place though and completely surrounded and hidden by decades of overgrowth. Thanks for watching.
