Openrails Melbourne (V/Line); Footscray - Bacchus Marsh Real Time

Описание: In this video we see a real time journey on the Ballarat line recorded on Openrails. Onboard a V/Line A Class locomotive A70 we take a ride from Footscray to the large town of Bacchus Marsh, following the electrified Sunbury line as far as Sunshine, before diverging onto the non-electrified Ballarat line stopping at Ardeer, Deer Park, Rockbank and Melton before reaching our terminating station at Bacchus Marsh. We also see a couple of other Metro and V/Line trains along the way.

Bacchus Marsh is a major station of the Ballarat line. It boasts a large yard which allows trains to originate and terminate there in peak hours. Usually these trains tend to stop all stations to and from Melbourne. Express trains to and from Ballarat stop at Bacchus Marsh before skipping the smaller stations to and from Melbourne.
