🍖 Beef Ragù Pasta Recipe
🥒 Ingredients
• 🍖 1.5kg Beef short ribs
• 🫒 Avocado oil
• 🍷 ½ cup red wine
• 🧅 2 onions, cubed
• 🥕 2 carrots
• 🥬 2 celery sticks
• 🌿 3 bay leaves
(+Optional: Sprig of Thyme)
• 🧄 4-5 cloves of garlic
• 🍅 2 tins peeled whole tomatoes
• 🍖 Beef stock
(Enough to cover everything in the pan)
• 🧂 Salt & pepper

👩🍳 Method
1. Season: Sprinkle ribs generously with 🧂 salt.
2. Brown: Heat 🫒 avocado oil in a pan and brown the 🍖 ribs well. Set aside.
3. Deglaze: Pour 🍷 red wine into the pan to deglaze, scraping up the browned bits.
4. Build flavour: In a large oven pan add 🧅 onions, 🍅 tomatoes, 🥕 carrot, 🥬 celery🌿 bay leaves, 🌱 thyme, 🧄 garlic, and pepper 🧂 Return the ribs to the pan.
5. Add liquid: Pour in 🍖 beef stock until the ribs are just covered.
6. Slow cook: Cover with lid or foil and bake in oven at 190°C for 4 hours.
7. Serve: Ribs are ready when the meat is tender and the bones easily fall away.
