Remake It! Kirby's Smash Moveset

Описание: This is Remake It! Where we take another look at characters in Smash Bros. whose fighter designs have aged poorly, wandered too far out-of-character, or could otherwise benefit from a revisit, then theorycraft what a reworked and improved version of their moveset, playstyle, and other details might look like!

This time we're looking at everyone's favorite adorable pink ball of mass destruction. Kirby has been a Smash cornerstone since the series' beginning, with a fighter design meant to appeal to new players and help ease them into the game. But while he's done a decent job with the role, his actual moveset's become more and more dated, a product of Smash 64 and Melee's more basic design ideas with hardly any changes or updates since the early 2000s. It's also led to him falling behind competitively, struggling to keep up with the metagame for multiple titles in a row because his current kit has been too flawed for him to overcome.

But what if we could do something about that? A rework of Kirby in Smash could update the duller parts, make some of his weak points less debilitating, and help him better embody the design principles his series has become famous for. All (hopefully) without going overboard with the references to the point of losing all cohesiveness. Time to Remake It!
