Briggs and Stratton P2200 Generator Review

Описание: I received one of these to try out, so please save the comments telling me I should have bought a Honda or a Yamaha. It worked really good for me. I was surprised by it exceeding the run time listed on the box. It is quiet like you would expect.

This generator works even better than I thought it would. The box says it will run 6 hours on a quarter load (425 watts). I ran it at 450-800 watts for 6.5 hours. I didn't think there was any way it was going to last the advertised time let alone go longer on a heavier load.

I ran heaters, dehumidifier, lights, stereo, tv, and a PlayStation 4. The heater was on low, but I had them all running. No problems with the anything except the LED lights I have flickered a bit. Not too bad, but if you looked right at the light you could see it. It seems like you can run it at the low setting right up to about 500 watts and then the motor speeds up.

It is very quiet. I have another inverter generator, and they are about the same. I recorded about 65db at 7 meters, the box says it should be 59. My normal conversational voice is 77db.

It does have the ability to parallel to another generator of the same brand. What is nice is that you can get the slightly larger Briggs and Stratton generator and hook the two together and really up the power.

I like the "H" handle on the top. It is really easy to pick up, although you won't want to be carrying it for too long.

I am not a fan of the screen in the gas fill area. It is super hard to see if you have it all filled up (I spilled a bit) and you cannot peek in the tank to see how much is left while it is running.

All in all a very nice unit.
