Описание: Did you know your Pensioner Concession Card is worth far more than cheaper prescriptions? In this video, we walk through every confirmed benefit available to Age Pension, Disability Support Pension, and Carer Payment recipients in 2026 — including benefits most pensioners have never used.

With the cost of living at record highs, it's more important than ever to make sure you're accessing every dollar of support you're entitled to. From medicines that become free once you hit the PBS Safety Net threshold, to energy bill rebates, council rate reductions, telephone discounts, and Medicare coverage that increases once you exceed the Extended Medicare Safety Net — the Pensioner Concession Card unlocks far more than most people realise.

In this video we cover: the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme concession rate of $7.70 per prescription and the PBS Safety Net of $277.20 that makes medicines free for the rest of the year; the Extended Medicare Safety Net with a lower threshold of $861.20 for concession cardholders; subsidised hearing aids and assistive listening devices through the Australian Government Hearing Services Program; electricity and gas rebates available in every state and territory; telephone and internet discounts with major providers including Telstra; council rates reductions; public transport concessions including Gold Opal in NSW, Seniors Myki in Victoria, and concession go card in Queensland; and Australia Post discounts on stamps and mail redirection.

We also cover who gets the card automatically, what to do if you don't have one, and who might be eligible for the Commonwealth Seniors Health Card — available to self-funded retirees aged 67 and over with income below $99,025 for singles or $158,440 for couples.
This video is for Australian pensioners, retirees, carers, people with disability, and anyone who supports an older Australian. The information is based on confirmed details from Services Australia and official government sources as of 2026.

Subscribe for updates every time Centrelink or Age Pension rules change. We cover every update in plain English, as soon as it happens.
