He just had to swing back by home-turf and step foot on the consecrated ground of the Lexington Green on April 19, 2025: the 250th anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord.

Watch, reflect, catch a bit of the parade, and learn a new vocabulary word as The Masshole takes us to Lexington, Massachusetts, the site of the birthplace of freedom and the start of the Revolutionary War.

'Concord Hymn' was written by Ralph Waldo Emerson and is in the public domain.

This video was posted on April 19, 2025 which is 250 years to the day (April 19, 1775) on which the following eight Minutemen were the first to fall in the Revolution: John Brown, Samuel Hadley, Caleb Harrington, Jonathan Harrington Jr., Robert Munroe, Isaac Muzzey, Asahel Porter, and Jonas Parker. Jonathan Harrington Jr. was fatally wounded and managed to crawl back to his home where he died.

Tom Antonellis is an actor, voiceover artist and dialect coach working bicoastally in both Los Angeles and Boston. He is a master of the Bostonian dialect (hence the creation of this character). A fan of and student of history, Tom Antonellis has been an enthusiast of American history in particular since his school days.
