Elif screams for her mother when Tuğçe locks her in a barn. Meanwhile Melek’s heart stops and she nearly dies. Zeynep worries about Melek while trying to find a way to pay the hospital bills.
At university Zeynep asks to borrow money from a friend. Kenan’s brother, Selim, overhears her and pays the outstanding bills without telling Zeynep.

Murat has an idea how to make a lot of money and pay off Veysel’s debts. The idea is that they let smugglers use their house as a place to hide illegal goods. Veysel is reluctant at first but then agrees in desperation.

Arzu tries to make up with Kenan, but he doesn’t want to. She asks Gonca to search Ayşe’s room to try to find out if Kenan is Elif’s father.
Aliye remembers Kenan’s first wife, who she ordered to be killed and thinks she could be Elif’s mother. Tuğçe discovers a photo of her father with Melek in a draw of his desk.
Every time Kenan looks at Elif he is reminded of Melek, their secret marriage and how she left him.
