Parking issues have become a chronic problem in Vasco town with no sufficient parking space and pay parking facility available in the Port town.
Peter Andrade, a local from Mangor hill-Vasco said that the parking issue has become a total mess in Vasco. The municipality has taken several resolutions and discussions were held to make some section as a pay parking but nothing has happened on those lines.
He further said that it is learnt that whenever the municipality wants to put parking in place, the tourist taxi and rent a cab operators seek favours from the politicians and due to the political interference too the parking issue countinue to remain alive
