Gorenje PS19.85 International washing machine. Made in Yugoslavia!
As said, it was saved from and old guest house (gasthaus), standing in a bathroom for many many years untouched. Building will be demolished and everything inside was heading for scrap.
Machine was in a condition, that I have never seen before. Moisture and corrosion did most of the damage. Challenge accepted!
It was ongoing project for a month or so, to gather motivation and needed parts.
It really was a rollercoaster, when I tought its finally getting done, bammm.. not yet. Problem after a problem.
Complete tub was replaced with newer type. Sadly three spoke pulley cracked so it was also replaced with newer type.
Currently, machine is running with 500RPM Rade Končar motor and I'll probably keep it that way. Original motor IMI TIP: GU-940-F7 is waiting to be tested and hopefully fixed, so machine can stay original as possible with distinctive Sever Subotica motor sound.
Timer and wiring was "donated" from PS350BM machine, so few wiring modifications had to be done, to get functionality of softener valve, E and pump stop.
