As an art form concerned with preserving tradition, classical music can be slow to embrace change—too slow. The pain of the pandemic and the rhetoric of shrinking audiences is lasting; questions about repertoire and representation endure.
Yet, at its heart, music is about creation: of ideas, shared experiences, and beauty.
At this event, a panel of leading voices in performance, artist management, recording, education, and broadcasting come together to ask—and answer—daring questions about the future of classical music. Attendees will leave inspired about new models for music that advance social justice and new ways of thinking to enable the industry to thrive.
