In this video, I demonstrate a concerning behavior of SUPERAntiSpyware that I found on my Windows 10 machine and confirmed on other computers since. Upon launching the program, it consistently initiates hidden iexplore & ielowutil processes that persist even after closing SUPERAntiSpyware.
This behavior raises significant security concerns:
• Launching hidden processes without user knowledge
• Utilizing outdated iexplore for unknown purposes
• Failing to terminate these processes upon program exit
Due to these red flags, I've decided to remove SUPERAntiSpyware from my systems. I encourage viewers to consider this information and make an informed decision about whether to continue using the software.
Watch the video for a detailed demonstration and explanation of these issues.

For those of you thinking 'why would anyone use anything other than Windows Defender?', let me reiterate a reply to a comment from @zexal4974:
"Windows Defender does not catch everything and this is why to properly secure a PC against threats you need multiple scanners to also check for cookies, malware, pup, rootkits, ... I wish Defender caught these things too then it would be the single go to application, but it's not. You'd be amazed how much Defender does not catch! As an antivirus it is great, but it does nothing beyond that.
...
By using Windows Defender in conjunction with these supplementary tools, you create a more robust defense against a wider range of cyber threats. This layered approach is crucial in today's complex threat landscape, where relying on a single solution can leave significant vulnerabilities."
