T'puram: The Travancore Devaswom Board had appointed officials, who were involved in financial irregularities earlier, for handling the economic affairs of the temple. Three officials against whom financial irregularities worth lakhs of rupees have been detailed in the audit report, are among the list of those promoted. According to an order of Board in 2015, the persons involved in financial irregularities should be subjected to disciplinary action at the department level and prosecution under criminal law.
