Unfortunately, the trends are not very good now, when both the invader and the one who suffers from aggression are put on the same scale. As a church, we pray for peace, but for a just peace."

STORYLINE:
The Ukrainian city of Bucha on Tuesday commemorated its residents, who were killed by Russia's military soon after they invaded, on the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Russian troops quickly occupied Bucha after invading Ukraine and stayed for about a month.
When Ukrainian troops retook the town, they found what became known as the epicenter of the war’s atrocities.
Dozens of bodies of men, women and children lay on the streets, in yards and homes, and in mass graves.
Some showed signs of torture. Day after day, body collectors found the dead in basements, lying in doorways, deep in the woods.
Dozens of Bucha residents gathered Tuesday near the church where the mass graves of local civilians were found in 2022.
They placed flowers at the memorial with names of those killed.
422 bodies were found after the liberation of Bucha.
The youngest was 1.5 years-old, and the oldest about 100 years-old, said Bucha priest Andrii Holovin, who stayed there during the occupation.
