Описание: In 1980 Zimbabwe was born amidst much euphoria, hope, and optimism. The nation famously hailed as the jewel of Africa had the highest literacy level on the continent and an education system that was the envy of many. However, today as we prepare to celebrate another independence day, things have changed drastically. Children born in 1980 turn 41 years this year, many of them with qualifications but no jobs and no bright hopes of getting any. Some didn’t manage to enjoy the quality education that was once the pride of their nation. How we got here is debatable, but the most important question now is how do we get to where we ought to be? How do we make the once-vaunted education sector relevant and capable of delivering for young Zimbabweans and their country? In this episode of the Rebound Series our host, Farai Mwakutuya seeks the answers and find the way forward.
