K Mohammed, a resident of Uppala in the Kasaragod district of Kerala, was forced to prove that he is an Indian citizen, stemming from a complaint filed by the BJP’s Kasaragod district secretary, Lokesh Nonda.
The BJP leader submitted a complaint in Form 7 seeking the removal of Mohammed’s name from the voter list on the ground that he “does not possess Indian citizenship.”
However, later, following the revelation that all his complaints were false, the Kasargod collector ordered the registration of a case against him.
