With 10 police officers heavily injured due to firing and clashes along the border, the tension in the Assam Mizoram border has reached its peak. There have been allegations of gunfire and attacks on government vehicles from the border area, which runs across Assam's Cachar district and Mizoram's Colasib district. However, the border is not the only place the bullets are being fired. The respective chief ministers of Assam and Mizoram Mr. Himanta Biswa Sarma and Zoramthanga have engaged in a bitter twitter brawl, tagging each other and in some instances also the home minister.
