This recipe allows you to use your green beans after they have matured and the beans inside have plumped up. It's an old recipe from when times were hard and you made do with what you had or could get. They are tasty though, I hope you try it and enjoy, I will put the ingredient list below.
3 lbs. mature green snap beans
6 slices bacon, precooked or raw diced 1/4 inch
1/2 medium yellow onion diced small
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsps salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Water to cover beans
Then add Love!
