French President Emmanuel Macron attends the inauguration of the Olympic aquatic centre north of Paris, one of the two permanent venues built for the Paris 2024 Games.

The Head of State will cut the ribbon on equipment built especially for the Paris 2024 Games, where it was initially scheduled to host all the events in the swimming program, with the exception of open water.

In its current configuration, the Olympic Aquatic Centre has two modular 50 m pools, plus a warm-up pool. It will be able to accommodate 5.000 people, including 3.500 spectators. Its official inauguration comes 113 days before the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, but the equipment has already been delivered last month to the COJO Paris 2024.
