Some of the rarest Chinese works of art will be offered at our upcoming Important Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art sale, taking place on 2 May at Christie's Hong Kong.
This meticulously curated collection features nearly 150 rare lots with distinguished provenance—from exquisite ceramics and Imperial porcelains to Buddhist sculptures and classic huanghuali furniture.
Highlights include an extremely rare pair of Yongzheng famille rose 'prunus and lingzhi' tea bowls, a stunning gilt-bronze figure of Vairocana from the Liao dynasty, and a truly impressive copper-red decorated pear-shaped ‘peony’ vase, yuhuchunping.
