This is a foamboard SR-71 I designed and built over the past few months. There was a lot of trial and error in the development of this plane including 2 variations of the fuselage and 3 different power systems (with a 4th on the way).
Specifications:
-1'-7 1/4" Wingspan
-3'-0" Overall plane length
-(2) 2205 2300kv motors
-(2) 12a ESC's
-3s 1300mah battery
-(2) 9g servos
-4 Channel receiver
-(2) Elevons
-(1) Throttle
With this setup the plane gets 4:00 flight time. I will be building a variant of this using 30mm edf's in the future.
