Liberty’s Promise is a non-profit organization that supports low-income, immigrant youth in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Montgomery Parks manages over 420 local parks in Montgomery County, MD. Liberty’s Promise and Montgomery Parks have worked together to provide environmental volunteer opportunities and internship programs for these participants. Learn how you can involve your organization, what barriers to keep in mind, and how these programs and partnerships impact students’ lives and futures.
