35 years of home organ technology in one video.
In this video I play "So nice - Summer Samba" on my three different organs:
The Hammond Aurora Classic from around 1980
The Technics GA3 from around 1995
The Roland AT500 from around 2015
I'm not sure which "jazz" organ sound is the best of these three. But the winner for orchestral voices is definitely the AT500.
This song was written by Brazilian composer Marcos Valle in 1964. In 1966 three different versions where on the Billoard charts at the same time.
It uses so many different, unusual chords... the GA3's auto play feature couldn't figure out the right ones, so the guitar in the background is only active on the AT500.
