Have you dreamed about having a flat cable at hand for your project?
Well, sooner or later, your projects are going to require such a thing.
What about buying one? You can surely try, but in most cases it won’t be at the size you need and maybe not at the price you were ready to pay for.
As in so many other cases though, there is a solution to that: make it yourself.
What do you need?
#1-the flat cable
#2-IDC connectors
#3-a crimping tool.
All the three can be easily found at reasonable prices from various distributors, not necessarily on Amazon.
Not only you can make these cables at the length you want, but you can make as many as needed, any time. And more, you can also make special cables like the one I am showing you in the video, with multiple connectors –not available to buy btw.
