Описание: We've begun the slow art of espalier! The Old Mushroom Farm, Howick, has a long term vision to grow a living privacy screen from fruit trees. We planted the plum saplings in spring of 2024. It is now late winter and the trees are in their dormant period. It is time to cut the trees right back to stumps! It seems dramatic, but we hope they'll bounce back so that we can shape them into beautiful fruit-bearing espalier. Follow us on our espalier journey and learn how to prune plum trees for espalier.
