Delhi Traffic Advisory: Bangla Sahib, Connaught Place Routes Shut Amid Protests In Delhi Regions

Описание: Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory restricting vehicular movement around Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and parts of Connaught Place from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm due to protests called by left organizations. Traffic will be closed on the stretch between Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and the Election Commission office. Protesters have planned a march from the gurudwara towards the Election Commission and Jantar Mantar. The demonstration aims to protest the de-notification of Jantar Mantar as a designated protest site and demand the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner. Delhi Police has deployed heavy security apparatus, including detention buses, outside the police headquarters and adjoining routes. Authorities noted that Section 163 has been imposed across the area, prohibiting gatherings, and no permission has been granted for the demonstration. Commuters traveling between inner and outer circles of Connaught Place have been advised to avoid these routes.
