Blyde River Canyon has been on my list of places to go for a while. I remember just a couple days after leaving South Africa on my last trip, I saw an epic photo of the canyon pop up on my instagram feed. I was kicking myself for not visiting when I was there. Truth is, I didn't even know it existed. So, when I was planning my return to South Africa, I knew that I had to make a stop at Blyde River Canyon.
This episode showcases my day at Africa's grand canyon. I scouted out Blyde River Canyon quite a bit, and found it a bit of a challenge as there was just nowhere to shoot the landscape at sunset or sunrise. But, I made due with the light I was given, and I'm actually really happy with the way my shots of the canyon and the surrounding area came out. I managed to get a couple images for some clients, and really enjoyed my time in the Blyde River Canyon area in general. It really is a spectacular place.
